Yoga for Over 50
For many members of this group, it's no secret that my passion for wearing great fashion has shifted to prioritizing feeling good. Recently, my body has been signaling that it's time to focus on improving my mobility and exercise routine.
As you may be aware, the body changes as we get older, not just physically, but also mentally and emotionally. I have learned that we really need to explore what is best for an over 50s body and mind to live life to the fullest.
We all want to slow down aging and feel more alive - right?
Some of us may feel our joints are more sensitive and we don’t feel like jumping around. Lifting heavy weights can put more strain on our joints and back when not done correctly! Or maybe you feel a little more body-conscious around the younger people in a fitness center and do not feel comfortable or confident? Some people once over 50, are not enjoying exercise any more or finding it hard to get results.
If you have never tried yoga for whatever reason, then try to open your mind now and give it a go. Yoga for Women over 50’s health has huge benefits. There is a yoga style for everyone and you can do it at home at your own pace. Even if you have tried somewhere and this didn’t work out, then try another class, until you find the right yoga class for over 50s.
Practicing healthy yoga for over 50’s has helped me get through all the challenges of the big ‘M’ - Menopause. It has got me through relationship struggles and bringing up a teenage boy! My favorite saying is “ Exercise really is the best free medicine for your heart."
Remember Yoga is for everyone, any age, and level.
How to grow your nails faster and make them stronger? Do you experience slow nail growth, brittle nails, nail breakage, nail splitting, and other nail problems?
Then here's some good news! The times, where you needed to spend a lot of money on acrylic nails or manicure to have long, strong, and healthy-looking nails are finally over. Try these natural home remedies for nail growth that really work!
Warm three teaspoons of coconut oil and one teaspoon of honey in the microwave for about 20 seconds. Soak your nails in the mixture for about 10 minutes. Do this every day for about a month to see the full result. You can also wear cotton gloves and let the mixture soak overnight and have natural overnight nails treatment.
Nails that are dry and brittle easily break and split. To make your nails stronger and prevent them from breaking, massage your nails with tea tree oil, almond oil, jojoba oil, flaxseed oil, pumpkin seed oil, or vitamin E oil. Do this every day for about 10 minutes.
Improving blood circulation to the nails can be done by gently rubbing the nail buffer across the nail beds.
If you bite your nails, you can stop by putting a band-aid or tape around each of the nails you bite. Applying nail polish that has a bitter taste should also help.
Always keep your nails clean to prevent infections that slows down nails from growing. Do not leave them wet because wet nails are more susceptible to infection.
A lack of nutrients is the most common reason for slow nail growth. Vitamin deficiencies make nails dull and brittle. A diet rich in vitamins, iron, zinc, calcium, and protein (nails are made of the protein creatine) is highly beneficial for healthy nails. Therefore, having a balanced diet with fruits, vegetables, and nuts, but also protein-rich foods like eggs, almonds, yogurt, cheese, and buttermilk would be beneficial for making your nails stronger. Having jellies or other foods containing gelatin is also considered as a good natural cure for growing your nails faster. You can always support your body with an extra portion of vitamins and minerals, as for example with our Zinc Capsules.
